New York Women’s Agenda honors Barbara Apple Sullivan at their 2008 Star Breakfast
Along with four others, New York Women’s Agenda honors Barbara Apple Sullivan as a vital voice for women in the community and a mentor to future generations. In Barbara’s acceptance remarks, she credited her success to the example set by her trail-blazing mother and the support of her family, friends and colleagues. Also at the event, Barbara Walters was awarded the Elinor Guggenheimer Lifetime Achievement Award for her accomplishments in news media and journalism and for the inspiration she has provided women throughout the world.
